What We've Been Building: A Look Inside DTS This Quarter

June is one of our favorite times of year at Divine Tech Systems. It's when the whole team comes together to collaborate, sharpen our processes, and spend real time building relationships with each other — not just working alongside one another. We work hard, learn a lot, and have a genuinely good time doing it.

Our COO, Alexis, put it well in a recent LinkedIn post:

Being in the same room with this group reminded me just how much talent, creativity, wisdom, and heart are packed into this team. The work we do is important, but the people we get to do it with make all the difference.

That sentiment captures something we come back to often: getting to spend our days helping churches solve problems, improve systems, and support the mission they've been called to is meaningful work — and doing it alongside people who care this much about it is something we don't take for granted. We're grateful for this team, grateful for our clients, and grateful to do work we love every day.

Recent Projects: Small Fixes, Big Impact

Event Registration Hacks

Sometimes the smallest tweaks make the biggest difference in someone's day. One church needed a faster way to update registrants on specific event registrations — sometimes one at a time, sometimes in bulk. We built them a workflow button to update attributes on camper registrants in bulk, plus a "Back to Registrants Tab" shortcut for when updates needed to happen one by one. A few saved clicks per registrant adds up to hours saved over the course of a week.

Connection Request View from Profile

For another church, we built a custom enhancement to their connection request system: a collapsible section right on a person's profile that surfaces every note tied to their member care requests. Instead of digging through multiple connection requests to piece together someone's history, staff now see everything in one place — making member care faster and more unified.

Community Recipe Highlight: SMS Credit Calculator

Worth a shoutout from the wider Rock community: Yesu Chum from Houston's First Baptist Church built a handy widget that shows the true cost of an SMS message before you hit send. A good reminder that maybe that text doesn't need seven emojis after all.
